Information we collect
We collect the information needed to provide the service, including your name, contact details, date of birth, delivery and billing details, order and payment information, consultation answers, photographs or documents you submit, identity-verification results, and communications with us. Health information is special category data and is handled with additional care.
Why we use it
We use personal information to provide pharmacy and clinical services, assess whether treatment is safe and suitable, verify identity where appropriate, dispense and deliver orders, take and refund payments, prevent fraud, respond to enquiries, meet professional and legal obligations, keep appropriate clinical and transaction records, and improve the service. Our legal bases may include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating a safe and secure service, and consent where required. We process health information for the provision and management of healthcare under applicable data-protection law and duties of professional confidentiality. Optional analytics or marketing technologies are used only in line with your cookie choice.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with authorised pharmacy staff and prescribers, payment providers including Elavon Opayo, identity-verification providers including Stripe when enabled, analytics providers including Google in line with your cookie choice, delivery providers, and suppliers that provide secure hosting, communications, support, or fraud-prevention services. We may also share information with regulators, healthcare bodies, courts, or law-enforcement authorities where the law or patient safety requires it. Suppliers must protect the information they process for us.
International transfers
Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we require an approved legal transfer mechanism or another safeguard recognised by UK data-protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet pharmacy, clinical, tax, fraud-prevention, and other legal or professional record-keeping requirements. Retention periods differ by record type. We securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain uses. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Some rights are limited where we must retain or use records for healthcare, legal, or public-interest reasons. We do not make a treatment decision using solely automated processing; an authorised clinician makes the clinical decision.
Cookies and analytics
Essential technologies keep the site and checkout working. Optional analytics and marketing technologies are controlled through Cookie settings in the website footer.
We use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited and whether checkout is completed. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them. If you decline, Google Analytics receives only limited, cookieless signals that do not identify you or your device across visits. Google Analytics records the pages you visit, and a page address can show which treatment area you looked at. We do not send consultation answers, names, email addresses, or other directly identifying details to Google Analytics, and we do not use analytics data to target advertising based on health conditions. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the website footer.
